The Schedule
- 5:00 AM: Rise with the roosters. The best time to sweep the yard and water the plants while it's cool.
- 12:00 PM: Lunch is the biggest meal. Rice is non-negotiable.
- 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Siesta time. The heat is at its peak; everyone rests.
- 5:00 PM: Merienda (snack) and socialization.
It can be frustrating for Type-A personalities, but once you surrender to it, you find a peace you never knew you needed.
