Fast fashion is toxic—literally. At Apayao Threads, we are returning to the old ways. We use primarily natural fibers like Philippine cotton and Abaca (Manila hemp), which are biodegradable and breathable—perfect for the tropical climate.

Our colors come from the earth. We use turmeric for yellow, mahogany bark for red, and indigo plant for blue. This means no harsh chemical run-off into our rivers and clothes that are safe for even the most sensitive skin.

Zero Waste Initiative

We hate waste. Every scrap of fabric left over from cutting our clothes is saved and upcycled into accessories like coin purses, headbands, and fabric jewelry. Nothing goes to the landfill.
